Telangana State LAWCET, PGCLET 2021 Registration Notification Released, Application Link

Osmania University has released the official notification for registration of Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET). The LAWCET exam is conducted for students aspiring to pursue law seeking admission in law under-graduate courses. OU offers a 3 year LLB program and a 5 year LLB program in the state, the admissions are given on basis of merit secured by the candidate in the TS LAWCET.

The OU has also released the notification for candidates to register for Telangana State Post-Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (PGCLET). The PGCLET exam is conducted for students seeking admission to study the 2 year LLM course offered by OU in the state of Telangana.

The PGCLET & LAWCET exams will be held on the same day – 23rd August 2021 in multiple centres in the state.

Eligibility for LAWCET – Students with a UG diploma/degree from a recognized university with at least 45% for General Category or 40% for reserved categories can apply for the 3-year LLB course offered by OU.

Students who have cleared 12th Standard examinations or equivalent from a recognized education board with a minimum of 45% marks for General Category & 40% marks for reserved quotas are eligible to apply for the 5 year UG LLB program offered by OU in the state.

Eligibility for PGCLET – Students with a valid degree stating that they have cleared their 3 year or 5 year LLB/BL under-graduate course from a recognized college/university can apply to write the PGCLET for admission into LLM course offered by OU.

Exam Date for TS LAWCET & PGCLET is August 23rd, 2021.

Candidates can apply for TS LAWCET & PGCLET on the lawcet/pgclet website at by following the user guide for Online Application or process mentioned on the site.

The last date for submission of online application is 26th May, 2021.

The application fee that wiil be charged for LAWCET is Rs. 800 (Rs. 500 for reserved categories).

The application fee that will be charged for PGCLET is Rs. 1000 (rs. 800 for reserved categories).

In case students miss out on registration, they can apply for the exam until June 12th & June 22nd with a late fee of Rs. 250 & Rs. 500 respectively. Last online applications will be accepted till July 1st & July 10th with a late of Rs. 1000 & Rs. 2000 respectively.
