NEET 2021 Results Delayed, Updates on NEET 2021 Results

The results of the 2021 NEET (National Entrance cum Eligibility Test) which were expected to be released this week will be delayed. The 2021 NEET exam was conducted on 12th September 2021, students write the NEET competitive exam to get eligibility & secure a seat in one of India’s medical institutions to obtain a professional medical qualification in the field of medicine. Generally, the NEET exam result is declared within a month from the date of the examination but few hiccups have delayed the result for the 2021 exam.

Last week, on 15th October, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key & exam candidates were given time till 17th October to challenge/object any answers. The results of the 2021 NEET exam have been delayed due to the reason of NTA reopening the 2nd phase registration & form filling along with correction of details in the 1st phase registration. The NTA had opened the 2nd phase of registration for students on 1st October till 10th October.

After numerous requests from candidates to reopen the window for filling the 2nd phase registration form & to correct/modify the details of the 1st phase registration form, the NTA has reopened the form filling & modification for both phases until 26th October & announced the same in a public notice released yesterday.

Candidates can head to the NEET NTA website at neet.nta.nic.in and can find the link to the “NEET (UG) Correction Phase 2” at the bottom of the home page. Candidates will be redirected to the sign-in page where they must enter their NEET Application Number, password & security pin as shown & sign-in. After signing-in, candidates can modify the fields of the information provided in forms of both registration phases. Students can edit their gender, nationality, email address, category, sub-category, and all fields of the second phase. The window to edit the form will be open till October 26, up to 11:50 pm. NEET results will not be declared before the application process.

“The candidates are strongly advised to check, cross-check, and verify their registered e address and ensure that it is their own e-mail address only as NTA will be sending the scanned scorecard to the registered e-mail address,” advised the NTA. Once the registration windows close post 26th October 2021, candidates can expect the results of the 2021 NEET exam to be declared soon after. The 2021 NEET exam & final answer key will also be released a few hours before the results, cut-offs & ranks are declared.

The opportunity to modify particulars of their forms from the phase1 & phase 2 of registrations is the last chance the students will get to change any information; candidates must ensure all the information is filled in properly as the data will be verified & cross-checked during counselling post the announcement of results. Any discrepancies or irregularities in the information can lead to the candidature of the candidate being cancelled from the 2021 NEET exam.
