JEE Main 2021 BTech paper is scheduled :

  • JEE Main 2021 B-Tech paper-1 is scheduled today on Wednesday, February 24th. The exam was conducted in two slots: the first shift being conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM while conducting the second shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.
  • JEE Main 2021 is the qualifying exam for admission to undergraduate programs in NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). This exam is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is conducted for admission to undergraduate programs offered by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).
  • Over 6 lakh students have registered for the BTech paper.JEE Main 2021 candidates will be required to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines which include wearing a mask at all times, maintaining appropriate distance from one another at the JEE Main exam centres.
  • Several coaching centres expressed their views that those students who had appeared the exam in the first shift found mathematics and Chemistry subjects mildly tough whereas the physics paper seemed to be the most convenient and easiest one as compared to the rest two. The questions asked covered all chapters of Classes 11 and 12, however, weightage was given to class 12 chapters in Maths and Chemistry.
  • NTA has given special privileges to such candidates who are suffering from chronic diseases including diabetes. They are allowed to carry sugar tablets or fruits and a transparent bottle with them. Though they will not be allowed to carry any packaged food.
  • To prevent cheating using mobile phone networks, jammers have been installed in all the exam centres.
  • Candidates who make use of unfair practices during the exam will be debarred for three years in future and shall also be liable for criminal action and /or any other action as deemed fit.
  • JEE Main 2021 exam self-declaration form is a part of the admit card. Fill the self-declaration section, paste photograph and put left-hand thumb impression. Do not sign it. You will have to sign it on the exam venue.
  • According to official information, NTA will announce JEE Main 2021 February result by March 7, 2021. The official website to check JEE Mains result will be jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • NTA will display JEE Main answer key and question paper on its official website. Students will be allowed to raise objections to the provisional answer key by paying a fee of Rs 200. Usually, NTA releases the final answer key before announcing result.
  • The NTA has relaxed the eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2021 exam. Candidates are not required to achieve a minimum score in their Class 12 board exams but simply clear them. Earlier, they had to secure at least 75% to be allowed to participate in the counselling process.
  • Candidates are welcome to write it all four times and only their best score will be considered for the final ranking process. The next three rounds of JEE Main 2021 will be conducted by the following schedule:
  • Session 2-March 15-18
  • Session 3-April 27-30
  • Session 4-May 24-28
  • In 2020, the JEE Main cut-offs rose for general category but dropped for the reserved categories. The cut-off for general category in the common rank list in JEE Main 2020 was 90.3765335, up from 89.7548849 in 2019.
