ICAI CA 2021 May exam timetable out:

  • ICAI CA 2021 May exam timetable has been released on its official website: www.icai.org As per the release of the new timetable, the intermediate exams shall get commenced from May 22 scheduling the final exam on its previous day, May 21st. The governing and the conducting body to the intermediate and final exams for Chartered Accountants is ICAI, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
  • Under the old scheme, the intermediate course exam has been divided in to two groups, basically Group-I and II. The group I shall be held on May 22, 24, 27, and 29, 2021 whereas the Group II will be advancing on May 31, June 2, 4.
  • Under the new scheme, the intermediate course exam will be held on May 22, 24, 27, and 29, 2021, while group-II is scheduled to be held on May 31, June 2, 4, and 6.
  • Under the old scheme, the Final course exam will be held on May 21, 23, 25, and 28 for the group- I and group II is scheduled to be conducted on May 30, June 1, 3, and 5. For the final exam under the new scheme, the group I exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 21, 23, 25, 28, group-II on May 30, June 1, 3, and 5.
  • The deadline for Registration is March 1, 2021.
  • Eligible and interested students must register for the ICAI CA intermediate (new) exam online at eservices.icai.org.
  • Prohibition of scheduling the exam on 26th of May 2021, remarking the eve of Buddha Jayanti that is on Wednesday. It is because it is regarded as a compulsory (gazetted) Central Government Holiday as per F. No. 12/9/2020 – JCA-2 dated 10.06.2020 issued by Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions, Government of India. Rest, no changes are to be observed in the exam timetable if there is any declaration of a public holiday by the Central government or any State Government/ Local Holiday. Exams may continue to get commenced.
  • Candidates may note that Elective Paper – 6 of Final Examination (under New Scheme) is of 4 hours.
  • Further, in case of composite papers having both MCQs based & Descriptive Question Papers, seal of MCQs based Question Paper shall be opened at 3 PM (IST), in other words there will be no prior reading time for MCQs based Question Papers.
  • The Council reserves the right to withdraw any city / centre at any stage without assigning any reason. 
  • Candidates of Intermediate (IPC), Intermediate and Final (Old & New Scheme) Examinations will be allowed to opt for English / Hindi medium for answering papers. However, the medium of Examinations will be only English in the case of Post Qualification Course viz.: Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT).

  • Payment for the exam shall be carried out using VISA or MASTER or MAESTRO Credit / Debit Card / Rupay Card / Net Banking / Bhim UPI.
  • Payment is Rs. 600/- only Indians and the residents of Nepal. Whereasin case of overseas (check the list of countries above “exam centres”), it is around US$ 10 (for Overseas centres) in case the application on line is made after 13th April, 2021 and upto 16th April, 2021.
