CBSE has reduced the syllabus of the 12th board exams by 30%.

  • The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has reduced the board syllabus for the present streaming standard Class 12 massively up to 30%. This decision was announced by Hon’ble Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal in a view to understand the pressure that is handled by the students about to appear their boards in the year 2021 amidst the pandemic.
  • The class 12 is known as the turning point of a student’s academic career as the results will decide their future career options. On the other hand, it however seems that the pandemic is over, but the new strain of coronavirus has awakened the lofty media once again to claim why the condition is still not improving. Unless proper vaccination, the pandemic can still have its traces all over especially to the students who shall gather for their board exams.
  • Basically, there is no excuse for other exams like jobs or entrance exams as it has a chance of delay or trying once again whereas it is the same for the final board exam. The delay can’t happen with class 12 boards as it can interrupt the upcoming admission procedures of institutes, colleges, universities, as well as jobs in the country. the entire system of admission may get interrupted for almost 1-2 years which is basically not advantageous for the future of the country. therefore, instead of delaying the syllabus has been reduced to almost 30%.
  • By understanding the CBSE Syllabus for Class 12, students can perform well in their exam and can prepare each subject accordingly. Referring the syllabus gives students the information about what topics they should begin with.
  • The CBSE Syllabus for Class 12 is designed in a way to help students get a clear understanding of the course structure and its objectives. With the CBSE Syllabus for Class 12 Board Exams, students will get to know the chapters and concepts to be covered in all subjects.
  • In Class 12 board exam, question paper is set as per the CBSE Syllabus. The grades and marks are awarded on the basis of the 9-point grading system. CBSE boards put all the passed students in rank order and then awards grades as follow.
