APSSC and Inter exam scheduled for May 5 and June 6 respectively:
Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh announced and confirmed the closure of offline schools for Classes 1 to 9 due to spike in second wave covid cases, until further notice. But the state is sure to conduct the APSSC and Inter exams on May 5 and June 6, 2021 respectively.
The announcement was made on a meeting on Monday, 19th of April after the Andhra Pradesh Board of Education made an appeal to the Education minister of the state and the chief minister.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is these days holding several high-levelled meetings on Covid-19 situation. Apart from directing the official machinery to act tough on Covid Appropriate behaviour (CAB) violators, the suspension of classes is believed to be the right decision.
The Education Minister and the AP government however accepted the appeal but stood adamant with their decision in making no other changes in the SSC and inter examination schedule. According to them, the schedule the SSC and inter exams 2021 will be held as per the schedule.
The Andhra Pradesh Board examinations 2021 for inter is scheduled to begin from May 5 2021 and for SSC are scheduled to be held from June 6 to June 16 2021.
In accordance to the latest statement made by the State Education Minister, preventive measures have been started to take place in the schools and other educational institutions all over the state against the spread of COVID-19. The situation is peeked regularly along with regular covid tests for the students. This is a precautional method for fighting against the virus.
The minister further stated that the exam will get cancelled or postponed only if the rising covid cases go uncontrollable in the next forthcoming weeks. Not only this, stern actions will be taken against those educational institution that won’t comply with the guidelines.
Many Boards including CBSE and CISCE have already postponed or cancelled their board exams 2021. Schools, Universities and various Educational institutes are shut in the Nation amid the Covid-19 scare.
As per the State Covid guidelines, students will be allotted with a seat of at least 6 feet distance from the other during the conducting exams of Inter and APSSC. Mask must be worn by every student else a fine of Rs. 100 will be charged upon them.
With this, the students who test positive without any serious symptom will be allotted different rooms for attending the exams.
All the schools to be conducting these exams shall be emphatically ready and prepared with quick medical facilities during the event.
All the decisions made for the covid are subject to the safety of the students from the current Covid-19 Pandemic and due to a sudden surge in the cases across the Nation. However, as per the state head, the pandemic shall be overcome without hampering student’s academic career.
