The registrations for 2021 SBI Clerk Exam are now open, a notification released by the State Bank of India (SBI) announced that the registrations for its 2021 Clerk Exam is now open for all eligible candidates. The interested candidates can apply and check out the notification on sbi.co.in/careers. As per the statement of the notification, the registrations for 2021 SBI Clerk Exam will be open 27th April 2021 onwards while the last date for submission of application forms or registration is 17th May 2021. The SBI Clerk Exam is one of the most widely conducted bank exams in India.
The recruitment notification states – “Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in State Bank of India. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one state only. Candidates can appear for the test only once under the recruitment project. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular state should be proficient (Reading, writing, speaking & understanding) in the opted local language of the selected state/Union Territory or Special Area.” This means candidates have to pick the state in which they want to take up employment, each candidate appearing for the exam can only pick one state and he/she/them must be fluent in the local language of the opted state so as to be able to communicate clearly.
The preliminary exam for the 2021 SBI Clerk Exam is scheduled to be held in the month of June with the main exam being scheduled to be conducted on 31st July 2021 for now.
Through the exam, SBI expects to fill 5237 vacant Junior Associate posts in SBI banks across India. The pre-exam training call letter will be out for applicants by 26th May 2021.
Eligibility Criteria – The applying candidates must have a graduation degree in any field from a recognized university or recognized by the Central Gocernment. Candidates who apply with a Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the date of passing the course on certificate is on or before 16th August 2021. The age limit specifies that the candidates must be a minimum of 20 years old and should not be older than 28 years of age on or before 1st April 2021.
Test Pattern – The online Preliminary Exam will comprise of 100 objective questions for 100 marks. The test would be an hour long in duration and split into 3 sections i.e. Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability and English Language.
Application Fee – The applying candidates belonging to General/OBC/EWS categories will have to shell out Rs. 750 as application fees while candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/XS/DXS categories need not pay any application fees.
